Director of Client Relations and Senior Communications Strategist
Chris Knudson joined PKH Enterprises in 2010 and is the Director of Client Relations. Chris is a senior communications professional with more than 25 years of experience in broadcasting, public relations, corporate communications and information systems with subject matter expertise in enterprise information technology management and insider threat program management. Chris has a B.A. in Mass Communications from Wright State University.
During his tenure with PKH, Chris has led several projects for government clients focused on program development, policy and communications for Department of Homeland Security (DHS) programs. In his role at DHS, he has led a team working on interagency coordination of policy and standards for information sharing and safeguarding of Federal Secret information technology networks.
Prior to his work with PKH, Chris's career focused on marketing and promoting business and economic development in Washington, D.C. and Memphis, Tennessee. Chris worked to promote the business and economic climate in Washington, D.C. in his role as the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the DC Chamber of Commerce where he served as the Chamber's chief marketing professional, spokesperson and technology manager. Before joining the Chamber, he served as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications and Chief Operating Officer of the Washington, D.C. Economic Partnership, where he managed a wide variety of business operations, marketing activities, and the Partnership's technology systems. Prior to coming to Washington, D.C., Chris spent five years in Memphis, Tennessee as the Director of Communications and Information Systems at the Memphis Center City Commission.
In his spare time Chris enjoys riding his motorcycle, playing guitar and photography.
