Managing Member and Chief Executive Officer

Patricia Hammar founded PKH Enterprises in 2006 and is the Managing Member of the firm. She received her B.S. in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and received both a J.D. and MPA from the University of Baltimore. Professional affiliations include membership in the Maryland, District of Columbia, and Virginia Bars.

Patricia is a renowned expert on the legal basis for interagency information sharing, information management, and information access control, as well as on matters of policy implementation. As Managing Member of PKH, Patricia has developed integrated and strategic business plans and led team projects to support high-priority offices within the Intelligence Community, Department of Homeland Security, Department of State, Treasury Department, and the Department of Justice. She is knowledgeable about a wide range of transportation, security, and IT issues including advanced technology, infrastructure protection, counterterrorism, risk management, and information system security.

Prior to founding PKH, Patricia served as Vice President for Corporate Development and General Counsel for a Fortune 1000 company that specializes in the development of information solutions. During her tenure she developed and managed the corporate strategic plan while creating and spearheading a strategic marketing plan that helped increase revenues significantly.

Patricia served as a Special assistant within the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and the Federal Aviation Administration. While at the DOT, Patricia participated in several senior interagency projects including representing the Department of Transportation in the Infrastructure Protection Task Force led by the Department of Justice in support of Executive Order 13010. Patricia also managed the Surface Transportation Vulnerability Assessment, which evaluated the current level of security vulnerabilities in all modes of transportation, and oversaw a multi-million dollar program to develop future system architecture, baseline analysis products, and automated analyses tools.

In her spare time, Patricia enjoys spending time with her family. This includes video games and adventure stories since she has two young boys. In the summer you can often find her on "WingGull," her Jeanneau Sailboat named after a water and flying type Pokémon. Cooking and dichroic and stained glass are projects she enjoys but rarely finds time for.

Patricia's other business ventures include a law firm, sailboat chartering and sales, and direct sales of Thirtyone Gifts and Legal Shield legal insurance.
