Bryan Day is a well-respected privacy and information security professional with twenty-years of experiential knowledge in the field culled from a variety of private, nonprofit and government services roles. Today, he is the Program Manager for Privacy at a major Component within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Before DHS, Mr. Day held similar positions inside the Department of Defense (DoD), first at the Joint Staff (JS) and more recently the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). He has held two faculty appointment positions at the George Mason University (GMU) in Arlington, Virginia; and, earlier in his career, he was a Presidential political appointee working information governance and management matters for the Executive Office of the President (EOP) in the West Wing of the White House. Mr. Day holds an M.P.A. in public and nonprofit management and policy from New York University and is a Certified Information Privacy Professional with a specialization in Government (CIPP/G).
