Shae Hillary

Shae Hillary is a well-rounded Privacy subject matter expert with close to ten years of experience in Federal privacy compliance ranging from different Federal agencies such as Department of Homeland Security (DHS), National Institute of Health (NIH), Department of Defense (DoD), Consumer Financial Bureau (CFPB), Department of Education (Dept of Ed), and Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
More recently, she supported her clients in her role as Privacy SME within the Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) Directorate at Science & Technology (S&T) under DHS in addition to assisting with privacy compliance work surrounding natural disasters over at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Shae has obtained an MBA from the University of Maryland Global Campus and a B.A. from North Carolina Central University. Earlier in her career, she was the College Lifestyle Marketing Rep for Universal Music Group, Raleigh Durham region and has completed a collegiate professional internship with Walt Disney World.
Today, Shae is passionate about privacy law in both the public and private sectors along with Governance, Risk, and Compliance. She is an active member of the International Association Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
